Freelance Contributor Internship

Radio Purple, a non-profit news publication, offers an unpaid Freelance Contributor Internship for journalism students nationwide. It's a flexible freelance contributor role, not a set-schedule position: you pitch and write bylined pieces at your own pace, with editing and mentorship from our editors. Academic credit is available where your school allows it.

The internship is remote and organized by beat:

• Politics
• Courts
• Policy
• Culture
• The left-view column
• The right-view column

Further details provided on request.

We also welcome applications from reporters for open positions. Details provided on request.
