Corrections Policy
Getting it right matters more than being first. When we get something wrong, we say so.
Our commitment
- Factual errors are corrected promptly. A correction note at the end of the story explains what was wrong and what is right, with the date.
- Misattributed positions. If we summarize the left's or the right's position unfairly, or attribute a view to someone who does not hold it, we treat that as a correction, not a clarification.
- Clarifications are added when a story is accurate but could mislead or lacks important context.
- Updates reflect new developments. The story shows an “Updated” date and notes what changed.
- We do not silently delete or rewrite published stories. Removal is reserved for rare legal or safety cases and will be noted.
How to request a correction
Email corrections@radiopurple.com with the story link, the specific error and, if possible, a source. An editor reviews every request, usually within two business days.
